The Seattle Seahawks are worried about defensive end Chris Clemons who tore his ACL during yesterday’s NFC wild-card victory against the Washington Redskins.
According to what YouWager has learned, Clemons will undergo an MRI today.
Without the Georgia native Seattle’s defense would be significantly hurt since they ranked No. 1 during the season with 15.3 points allowed per game.
The 31 year-old player had 11.5 sacks during the regular season, tied for ninth-most in the NFL. In addition, he also had 40 total tackles, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
The Seahawks, the fifth seed in the NFC, visits the top-seeded Atlanta Falcons in the divisional round this coming Sunday.
