Brooklyn Nets vs. Boston Celtics
Tip-off: Wednesday, April 10, 2013 – 8:00 PM ET
TD Garden, Boston, MA
The Brooklyn Nets and the Boston Celtics last met back in December and YouWager bettors are incredibly excited as these teams close their season series.
Brooklyn is closing in on home-court advantage in the first round of the NBA playoffs and can capture the season series for the first time since 2005-06 with a win tonight versus Boston.
The Nets (45-32) won two basketball games against the Celtics (40-37) in November, with three ejections taking place in the second one. These teams then met Christmas Day and this meeting was skirmish in the fourth quarter that featured four technical fouls in Boston’s 93-76 win.
Boston seems to be worried about Brooklyn frontcourt players Reggie Evans, Andray Blatche and Brook Lopez. These three players have combined for 75 rebounds in the season series.
Lopez and Evans keyed a 104-83 home win versus the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday. Lopez had 29 points and 11 boards while Evans finished with 17 and 24 — two shy of his career high — as Brooklyn held a 67-34 cushion on the glass.
Brooklyn, who took three of four from the Celtics seven seasons ago, lead the Chicago Bulls by three games for home-court advantage in the first round.
Boston lead the Milwaukee Bucks by three games as they try to cement the No. 7 seed in the postseason and avoid a first-round game versus the Miami Heat. They are 1 1/2 games behind sixth-place Atlanta Hawks and two in back of Chicago.
