Chicago Bulls vs. Orlando Magic
Tip-off: Monday, April 15, 2013 – 7:00 PM ET
Amway Center, Orlando, FL
While the Chicago Bulls have ended their undefeated stretch versus playoff teams, YouWager experts know that their winning streak against the Orlando Magic is still going on.
Tonight the Bulls will try to win their fifth straight NBA game versus Orlando — and avoid a season high-tying third straight loss – when they put an end to their road schedule.
With an opportunity to move into fifth in the Eastern Conference, Chicago (43-37) lost 105-93 versus the Heat on Sunday. The Bulls had won four straight over playoff-bound rivals, including a 101-97 win March 27 that ended Miami’s 27-game winning streak.
The Bulls hold the tie-breaker versus the Atlanta Hawks, however they’re now one game behind Atlanta for the fifth seed. If Chicago is not able to win tonight and the Hawks defeat the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday, the Bulls will open the NBA playoffs in the sixth position versus the Indiana Pacers, which clinched the No. 3 seed last night.
Chicago, winner of eight of nine versus Orlando (20-60), could have Taj Gibson (left knee) back for the first time in eight games and Joakim Noah (right foot) in the lineup for the second time in 14 games.
Richard Hamilton can come back to the court following a one-game suspension, but former MVP Derrick Rose’s return from an ACL injury is still unknown.
Chicago has won their last five at Orlando — including a 96-94 win on Jan. 2 — but they’ve lost 10 of 13 when playing on the road and three in a row overall to teams outside the playoff picture since defeating the Magic 87-86 at home on April 5.
The Bulls has won their three matchups with the Magic this season by a total of nine points.
