Chicago Bulls vs. Brooklyn Nets
Tip-off: Monday, April 29, 2013 -7:00 PM ET
Barclays Center, Brooklyn, NY
The Brooklyn Nets weren’t able to impress their online sports betting fans in Game 4. The team missed many chances at winning and tonight things could be different if the Nets were coming home tied at two games apiece instead of trailing the Chicago Bulls 3-1.
What Brooklyn are trying to not think about the fact that there is the 14-point lead they couldn’t hold late in regulation on Saturday. Nate Robinson led Chicago back, and the team was able to pull out a 142-134 triple-overtime win. As meaningful as it was for Chicago, they understand they also need to let it go quickly.
The Bulls are close to their second round in a season in which Derrick Rose hasn’t suited up at all, Joakim Noah has battled chronic pain in his right foot and some other injury is bound to happen. This time it’s a bruised left calf for point guard Kirk Hinrich, who will not be able to play this game.
His absence might give Robinson an opportunity to start to potential clincher.
Chicago knows never to expect anything to come easily, undoubtedly not a close-out game on their opponent’s home floor.
Brooklyn is 5-0 in Game 5s at home.
Chicago isn’t used to having to rely on something like the 29 points Robinson scored after the third quarter. This NBA team would prefer to lean on their defense but realize there are some nights versus teams like Brooklyn where they will have to win by making shots.
Only eight teams in the league have overcome a 3-1 deficit, however coach P.J. Carlesimo remained optimistic Sunday — even talking about the days off in between Game 6 and Game 7.
The Nets have outplayed Chicago for long enough stretches during the series and YouWager experts consider they can do it for an entire game.
