The Tennessee Titans and YouWager fans are still waiting for more news regarding the tests on quarterback Jake Locker’s injured hip.
However, many believe the 25 year-old could miss four to eight weeks.
Locker was carted off the field and taken to the hospital by ambulance after injuring his hip during Sunday’s 38-13 victory versus the New York Jets.
The Washington native suffered the injury to his right hip in the third quarter on a hit by Jets defensive tackle Muhammad Wilkerson.
Wilkerson stated he didn’t know at first that Locker was hurt. New York’s defensive end said he took a step before hitting Locker and that the ref even told him it a clean hit.
Even so, the league is considering fining Wilkerson and Jets linebacker Quinton Coples for the hit that injured Locker. As bettors know, the hits did not draw a flag, but the NFL considers Wilkerson led with his helmet and Coples hit the quarterback after the ball was gone.
Locker spent the night in the hospital. Before the injury, the star QB completed 18 of 24 passes for 149 yards with three touchdowns and a 130.0 passer rating. It was the first three-TD game of his career.
