YouWager experts have learned that point guard Russell Westbrook could return to the Oklahoma City Thunder’s lineup within two weeks.
The 24 year-old point guard had a second surgery on his right knee earlier this month and has made significant progress in his recovery. Experts believe he could return well before the team’s original four-to-six week estimate.
Many team officials and players are quite impressed with Westbrook’s speed and explosiveness in practices.
The California native started all 82 games for Oklahoma City last season, averaging 23.2 points and 7.4 assists per game. Westbrook suffered a tear in his right meniscus in Game 2 of the Thunder’s first-round series versus the Houston Rockets.
