Jonathan Martin of the Miami Dolphins has left the team following an incident with teammates, according to what online sports betting experts have learned.
Several sources have confirmed that the starting offensive tackle was the subject of some ribbing on Monday and didn’t like it. According to source Martin’s fellow offensive linemen were behind the incident, and it happened in the team’s lunch room.
The 24 year-old player left the team this week and is listed as doubtful for tonight’s game versus the Cincinnati Bengals due to an illness. Neither source was sure when Martin would come back. Backup right tackle Tyson Clabo is likely to start in Martin’s place.
Martin, a former Stanford Cardinals product, was a 2012 second-round pick of the Miami team. The Pittsburgh native has started every game for the Dolphins this NFL season. He spent the first six games at left tackle and one at right tackle.
