Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans

Kickoff: Thursday, at 8:25PM Eastern

Line: Indianapolis -3 Total: 42

Last week, YouWager’s NFL football wagering fans saw the Tennessee Titans and the Indianapolis Colts lose, dramatically, in games they should have won. Now, these two teams will be fighting to redeem themselves and improve their standings in the season. At YouWager, the Titans are 3 point underdogs.

Against the St. Louis Rams at home, many online sportsbook bettors expected the Indianapolis Colts to have a relatively easy time claiming victory. Someone should have told the Rams. St. Louis covered the spread and trounced Indianapolis 38-8. Backup quarterback Kellen Clemens even performed better than Andrew Luck. Luck threw 3 interceptions. Chuck Pagano, head coach of the Colts, seemed to take the loss in stride. He told a YouWager news source, “Certainly we’re not going to bury our head in the sand on this past ball game. We’ll address the issues like we always address them. We know there are things that need to be fixed and we’ll go to work on fixing those things.”

The Tennessee Titans were expected to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars. Internet football bettors expect just about everyone to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars, as they are generally considered to be the worst team in the entire NFL. The win is Jacksonville’s first in the 2013 NFL football wagering season. Tennessee’s starting quarterback, Jake Locker, injured his foot in that contest, and his backup, Ryan Fitzpatrick stepped in. It looks like Locker may be out for the rest of the season. Due to Locker’s injuries, Fitzpatrick has gained more experience this season. In 4 games, he threw 4 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. Publicly, the Titans are still aiming to project an optimistic attitude about Fiztpatrick. Delanie Walker, a tight end for the Titans, told YouWager’s source, “Ryan knows he’s got to play, we need him to step up. Ryan has no choice but to play good. I feel like he did a great job against the Jaguars. It’s his opportunity to be the man now.”

If the Titans had beaten the Jaguars, they would have been only one game behind the Colts in the AFC South. Online oddsmakers still expect the Colts to win the division that also includes the Jaguars and the Texans. While showing much promise, Indianapolis has stumbled this season, against teams with less apparent talent. As favorites, the Colts are 2-4 against the spread. At YouWager, the Colts are 3 point favorites in this matchup. The Total is 42. Game time Thursday night is 8:25PM Eastern.
