Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers hasn’t been able to play ever since injuring his collarbone versus the Chicago Bears on Nov. 4. Today, YouWager experts have learned the 30 year-old player is scheduled to have scans performed on his shoulder.
These scans should determine how much healing has occurred since the incident.
Team doctors will evaluate the results, discuss them with the 3x Pro-Bowler and head coach Mike McCarthy. A determination is expected to be made later today as to whether Rodgers will play Sunday versus the Atlanta Falcons.
McCarthy has said he believes Green Bay needs to win out in their final four games for an opportunity at the NFL playoffs and they’re winless in five games without Rodgers.
According to different sources in the organization, the Packers’ medical staff tends to be extremely conservative and there’s worry that Rodgers could easily be reinjured if he makes it back to the field too soon.
