The Los Angeles Lakers aren’t impressing online sports betting fans by any means. The team has dropped 11 of 12 heading into a seven-game stretch away from home.
The Phoenix Suns haven’t been doing a great job either.
Tonight both teams will look to end their respective losing streaks as the Suns look for a fourth straight win versus the Lakers.
Los Angeles (14-24) had only nine players in the court in last night’s 120-118 home loss versus the Cleveland Cavaliers, as Kobe Bryant, former Sun Steve Nash, Steve Blake, Jordan Farmar and Xavier Henry are all out with different injuries.
Nick Young scored 28 points off the bench, while Jodie Meeks hit six 3-pointers and finished with 26 for the Lakers, who now take their game on a 12-day road trip.
Even while playing with a sore big toe, Pau Gasol scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.
Kendall Marshall, who was drafted 13th overall by the Suns and played 48 games as a rookie last season before being traded in October, had 10 points and 16 assists.
Marshall is currently averaging 13.0 points and 12.0 assists while starting the last six games for Los Angeles, who have lost six straight away from home. The latest loss in that stretch came to the Los Angeles Clippers at Staples Center last Friday.
The Suns (21-16) begin a five-game homestand after closing a 1-4 road trip with three straight losses, including Monday’s 98-96 overtime defeat versus the New York Knicks.
Goran Dragic had 28 points for Phoenix, who is 2-5 since Eric Bledsoe went down with a knee injury that will keep him out 4-6 more weeks after surgery.
Phoenix has won seven of nine at home and YouWager experts would like to see them win for a third time versus the Lakers this NBA season.
