Top NCAA Basketball Games of the Week Feb 19
There are just two weeks left in the college basketball regular season, which means that the NCAA betting excitement of March Madness is right around the corner. There are still plenty of games available over the next two weeks to help you build your bankroll before the tournament, and we are going to try and cover as many of the big ones as possible. We will have plenty of college basketball previews and predictions over the next few days, but let’s get things rolling by looking at some of the top games of the coming week.

#23 Oklahoma Sooners Vs #13 Kansas Jayhawks
What: #23 Oklahoma Sooners (16-10) at #13 Kansas Jayhawks (21-6)
When: Monday, February 19, 2018, at 8:00 pm CT
Where: Allen Fieldhouse, Lawrence, Kansas
The Line: Kansas Jayhawks -8.5
What we have here are a pair of teams heading in totally different directions. The Sooners have now lost 5 in a row and 8 of their last 10. That is a run of futility that should drop them outside the top 25 when the new rankings are released. The Kansas Jayhawks won both their games last week including a win over ranked West Virginia in what was a bit of a controversial game. The Jayhawks should be top 10 now, and they should also continue their good run of form here.
Illinois Fighting Illini Vs #2 Michigan State Spartans
What: Illinois Fighting Illini (13-15) at #2 Michigan State Spartans (26-3)
When: Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at 6:00 pm CT
Where: Breslin Center, East Lansing, Michigan
The Line: TBA
Who is going to end up ranked #1 when the regular season ends. The answer to that question seems to change with each passing day, but it’s fair to suggest that Michigan State will be in the hunt, as they are now on a 10-game win streak that has then #2 in the nation ahead of this week’s rankings. They had a comfortable win over Illinois in their previous meeting on the road and should continue their quest for #1 with a win here.
Louisville Cardinals Vs #12 Duke Blue Devils
What: Louisville Cardinals (18-9) at #12 Duke Blue Devils (22-5)
When: Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at 8:00 pm CT
Where: Cameron Indoor Stadium, Durham, North Carolina
The Line: TBA
After a bit of a rough run, Duke looks to be rolling back into form, winning each of their last 3 games. Their place in the tournament is secured, but the same cannot be said for a Louisville Cardinals team still very much on the bubble. They lost to UNC over the weekend and could really use a win over a ranked opponent to help their cause. Not sure that it comes here, though, as you need to like Duke at home. Desperation can make teams raise their game, which is why this is one to watch.
Connecticut Huskies Vs #5 Cincinnati Bearcats
What: Connecticut Huskies (13-14) at #5 Cincinnati Bearcats (23-4)
When: Thursday, February 22, 2018, at 6:00 pm CT
Where: BB&T Arena, Highland Heights, Kentucky
The Line: TBA
The pressure of landing in the top 5 appears to have gotten to the Bearcats, as they put in a bit of a stinker last week, losing back to back games. They may experience a big drop when the new rankings are released and will be looking to get back to winning ways against a Connecticut Huskies team that they have already beaten this season. It’s a game that Cincinnati should win, but you need to wonder if they can shake off that bad week.
#8 Ohio State Buckeyes Vs Indiana Hoosiers
What: #8 Ohio State (22-7) at Indiana Hoosiers (16-12)
When: Friday, February 23, 2018, at 7:00 pm CT
Where: Assembly Hall, Bloomington, Indiana
The Line: TBA
Ohio State is a lot like Cincinnati in that they worked hard to finally crack the top 10, only to see it all fall apart with back to back losses last week. They are going up against an Indiana team that is suddenly rounding into form, albeit probably too late to be in the tournament, with 4 straight wins. The Buckeyes won the previous meeting quite comfortably, and while I like them to win again here, it may be a little closer this time around.
