NCAA Football Dogs with a Valuable Bite for Week 7
Every week in college football we get a huge slate of games to choose our NCAAF picks from, and while it can be overwhelming to decide who and what to play, we also know that there are going to be some good underdog opportunities in there. With Week 7 of the college football season just around the corner, now is a good time to go digging for those underdog picks.
We have identified a few that might help you add some money to your bankroll. You can choose to play these as single picks, or perhaps think about adding one or two of them to your parlay tickets, as that may help you really clean up this weekend. Without further ado, let’s get to the NCAAF Week 7 underdog picks.
It was a rough week for the Top 25. Six teams took L’s, including two in the Top 10 😳

Kansas State Wildcats (+6) Vs. TCU Horned Frogs
Let’s start out by admitting that TCU are for real and should very much be in the playoff discussion at this stage of the season. They are coming off a huge win over the West Virginia Mountaineers last weekend, which means that there is a definitely possibility of a big letdown, especially going on the road against a tough opponent. While the Wildcats will be starting their back-up QB this week, it must be said that Alex Delton very much looked the part when he took over versus Texas last week. He could prove to be a problem for TCU, and while I do believe the Horned Frogs win, I think Kansas State can cover.
South Carolina Gamecocks (+3) Vs. Tennessee Volunteers
If all the rumors are to be believed, the Butch Jones era in Tennessee will come to an end if the Volunteers lose to the South Carolina Gamecocks this weekend. The Vols have already seen their season essentially come to an end, as there seem to be no way they will be able to catch Georgia atop the SEC East. This is a team that appears to be in damage control mode right now, but things still continue to get worse. The Gamecocks have covered in 5 of their last 7 games, and while they have not had a lot of success versus Tennessee in recent years, I think they win this one outright.
Tulsa Golden Hurricane (+13 ½) Vs. Houston Cougars
When we look at trends for upcoming games, we often just look at what each team is doing individually on the season. If you went on that alone, you would almost certainly take the Houston Cougars to win and cover against Tulsa. After all, the Golden Hurricanes are just 2-4 ATS to start the season and have only managed to win 1 games.
Houston are 4-1 on the season and have covered more often than not, making them the obvious choice. Things are a little different when these two go head to head, as Houston is just 6-4 SI in their last 10 meetings with the Golden Hurricane, and Tulsa are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 with Houston. The Cougars should win this one, but by 10 points or less.
Wyoming Cowboys (+3) Vs. Utah State Aggies
There is something to be said for momentum in sports and it’s fair to say that Wyoming have that on their side coming into this game. After a solid thumping at the hands of the Oregon Ducks, Wyoming bounced back nicely with back to back wins, covering the spread quite easily in both those games. The Aggies, meanwhile, are still licking their wounds after losing to Colorado State last week, which left them 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games. Wyoming are just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games against Utah State, but I think they buck that trend this weekend.
