Huge College Football Brawl in Georgia Yields Guaranteed Profit
The final week of the college football season is referred to as rivalry week, and as the name suggests, it’s when we get to see teams that have a strong dislike for one another go head to head. These games are great in and of themselves, but they become even better when there is a playoff spot at stake. The game between Auburn and Alabama is probably the biggest game on the schedule this coming Saturday, but we also shouldn’t overlook the Georgia Bulldogs taking a southbound trip on I-85 to take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets for a game that exudes clean, old-fashioned hate and Guaranteed Profit.
All the pressure is on the Bulldogs in this one, as they need to win to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Yellow Jackets would love nothing more than to be able to stop their bitter rivals from heading into the final four, so look for them to be even more fired up for this one than usual. Georgia is an 11-point favorite for this one, with the point total set at 51 ½.

Why Bet on the Georgia Bulldogs
It can be argued that the biggest test of the season for the 10-1 Bulldogs came last weekend against South Carolina. While the Gamecocks were certainly not the best team that Georgia had faced this season, there was still a lot of pressure on the Bulldogs to get a win after being seriously humbled by the Auburn Tigers the week previously. Georgia went into that one knowing that they had to win out if they were to be in the playoffs, so the manner in which they were able to bounce bag and win big was impressive.
The same rules apply for the Dawgs again this weekend, though, as they are once again in a must-win situation. Sure, they have already booked their ticket to the SEC Championship Game, but this is a team that is looking for more than that. Georgia has won 7 of their last 10 meetings with Tech, and should not be worried about going on the road. They are 6-1 SU and ATS in their last 7 road games.
Why Bet on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
Everyone knows what the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets bring to the table offensively, but stopping them doing their thing is easier said than done. Under coach Paul Johnson, the Jackets have adopted the triple option offense, which can often be difficult to stop. They are averaging almost 320 YPG on the ground versus 88 YPG through the air, so Georgia can expect a heavy dose of the run this weekend.
It is certainly going to be interesting to see what sort of success Tech has against one of the best defenses in college football. If the Dawgs can limit the run game and force Georgia Tech into more of a passing style, this thing could get ugly rather quickly. The Yellow Jackets have failed to win or cover in their last home games against the Dawgs, but are an impressive 11-2-1 ATS in their last 14 games overall.
Expert Pick and Final Score Prediction
The Georgia Bulldogs really need a win here to keep their playoff hopes alive, and that should serve as inspiration for a team that has its eyes on the top prize in college football. I like the Bulldogs to win and cover here.
