NBA Parlay for the Weekend- April 27, 2018, Edition
With the weekend almost upon us, it’s once again time to start putting together our NBA parlay tickets for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The problem we have here, though, is that we may be creating tickets for games that might never be played. There are four first-round series that could come to a close before Saturday hits, but what we are going to do is just go ahead and assume that the scheduled games will go ahead as planned, which would make for a great weekend of NBA action, as it would mean several Game 7’s. Some of these series will probably end before then, so keep checking in to see which tickets are still playable, and adjust accordingly.

Friday NBA Parlay – Raptors, Pacers, Jazz
The series between the top-seeded Toronto Raptors and Washington Wizards are lasting a little longer than expected, as both teams have yet to lose on home court. The Raptors hold a 3-2 edge, and the law of averages suggests that they eventually will win one on the road. My money is on it being this game that they take.
The Cavaliers took control of their series with the Utah Jazz by winning Game 5 in dramatic fashion, and they now have a shot at closing things out on the road. This series has been incredibly close, though, and I believe there is one more sting left in the tail. Pacers to win a close one.
The Oklahoma City Thunder looked dead and buried in Game 5. Down 3-1 in the series and trailing by 15 at the half, it looked to be all over, but they pulled out a big comeback to get the win over the Utah Jazz. Game 6 on the road in Utah looks to be a little tougher, though, and I have the Jazz winning it and moving on.
Saturday NBA Parlay – Celtics, Warriors
The series between the Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics have been a fun one to watch, but it will all come to an end on Thursday if the Celtics win Game 6 on the road. Even if they do manage to lose that one, you still need to like their chances in a Game 7 at the Garden.
Both the Golden State Warriors and the New Orleans Pelicans had rather straightforward passages into the second round, with both teams combining to lose just a single game. The Warriors won without Stephen Curry in the line-up, and while he may not yet be ready to go for Game 1 of the second round, I still like the Dubs to win.
Sunday NBA Parlay – Raptors, Cavaliers, Jazz
If the Raptors/Wizards series does go all the way to a Game 7, it will mean that home court advantage will have held through the opening 6 games. It would be tough to imagine that the trend would be broken here, so let’s take the Raptors.
I have these two heading to a Game 7, so I am already under the assumption that this game will be played. This will be the game to watch this weekend if it does play out that way, and I expect to see LeBron take this game by the scruff of the neck and dominate in a Cavaliers win.
I’m not so sure that we get to see the Thunder and Jazz in a Game 7, but if we do, it will mean that OKC is on the brink of digging themselves out of a 1-3 hole. I am all over the Jazz here, but I think this series will be done on Friday.
