The weekend is once again upon us, and for many bettors, that means it’s time to sit back and soak up as many sports action as possible. There are plenty of sporting events to wager on this weekend, but for the purposes of this piece, we are going to focus on the NBA. The basketball season is beginning to come down to the wire, with playoff spots being clinched and a host of teams fighting just to stay alive. Every day presents a new challenge, which is why we are going to deliver a trio of 3-team parlays for the weekend, starting on Friday night. These will all be SU picks, all of which you can go with ignoring, or mix and match as you like. If you think you can do better than what we have chosen, then, by all means, play your own parlays picks.

NBA Friday Parlay – Pelicans, Nuggets, Timberwolves

The Houston Rockets are making headlines with their 17-game winning streak, making it easy to forget that the New Orleans Pelican have hit double digits with their winning run. They will try to make it 11 in a row on Friday night when the Washington Wizards come to town and I like them to pull it off, albeit in a close one.
The Denver Nuggets are fighting for their playoff lives and will be hosting the Lakers on Friday night. The Nuggets may be below the playoff line, but they have been money at home this season, going 24-10. You need to like them to win against a Lakers team that have struggled on the road.
The New York Knicks are going to be missing out on the postseason this year, while the Milwaukee Bucks are grimly clinging on to the final spot in the East. The Knicks have only won 8 games on the road all season long, so it’s tough to see them pulling one out against a team in the playoff hunt.

NBA Saturday Parlay – Mavericks, Thunder, Clippers

We are at the stage of the season where the talk routinely turns to tanking. Dirk Nowitzki has come out publicly and stated that the Mavericks won’t do it, while their Saturday opponents, the Memphis Grizzlies are quietly putting together a 15-game losing skid. Let’s take the Mavs at home.
I am taking a bit of a chance with this next one, as I think the game between the Spurs and the Thunder are going to be close. That said, the Thunder have won 4 of their last 5 home games against San Antonio, so I think they might just eke this one out.
The battle for playoff spots in the Western Conference is a good one, with the LA Clippers right in the thick of it. They will host the Orlando Magic, a team with only 7 road wins this season, on Saturday night, making the Clippers look like a very solid addition to the parlay ticket.

NBA Sunday Parlay – Warriors, 76ers, Rockets

The Golden State Warriors are going to be without the services of the injured Stephen Curry for the next couple of games, but that should not sow then down too much. Look for Kevin Durant to take the lead when the Dubs pick up a win in Minnesota on Sunday.
The Philadelphia 76ers have been one of the pleasant surprises of this NBA season and are in a position to make a very rare playoff appearance. Sunday sees them head into NYC to face the Brooklyn Nets in a game that you would expect Philly to win in comfortable fashion.
Let’s finish off with a bit of a gimme for our final pick of the weekend. The Houston Rockets are on an absolute tear right now, and while they will likely lose another couple of games before the season ends, it’s tough to imagine that one of those losses will come in Dallas on Sunday.
