We are now just a couple of weeks away from the NBA All-Star Game, which is when all but a select few get to take a well-earned break to recharge for the final playoff push in the weeks ahead. With 2 weeks of action still to come before the break, there are still plenty of opportunities for teams to improve upon their current standing and for you to improve your NBA betting picks. This weekend features a full slate of NBA action, so we have gone ahead and selected what we believe to be the best games on tap over the next few days. We will certainly be wagering on these games and hope that you will join us. Let’s get right to the action.

Portland Trail Blazers Vs Toronto Raptors – Friday
The Portland Trail Blazers are making a big move in the Western Conference. Currently, in the #6 spot, Portland have won 4 straight and 7 of their last 10, a streak that has taken them to within a game and a half of Minnesota in the Northwest Division. The Toronto Raptors have been stuck in second in the Eastern Conference seemingly all season long, which is not a bad place to be. They will be looking to make a final push for the top spot before the All-Star Break comes around.
Predicted Score: Portland Trail Blazers 103 Toronto Raptors 106
New Orleans Pelicans Vs Oklahoma City Thunder – Friday
The Oklahoma City Thunder are in the #5 spot in the West, but have their eyes on the spot above them, as they are just a half game back of Minnesota in 4th. OKC has been in great form of late, coming into this one having won 8 of their last 10 games. The Pelicans have also been solid over the last couple of weeks, going 7-3 in their last 10, but they have also lost each of their last 2 games. They will be looking to maintain their spot above the playoff line while getting back to winning ways.
Predicted Score: New Orleans Pelicans 104 Oklahoma City Thunder 109
Houston Rockets at Cleveland Cavaliers – Saturday
The Houston Rockets have snapped out of their minor lull now that James Harden is back from injury, winning 8 of their last 10 games to keep the pressure on the Golden State Warriors at the top of the Western Conference. Over in the East, the Cleveland Cavaliers season is going from bad to worse with Kevin Love now out injured for 6-8 weeks. There is also now talk that LeBron James might be open to a move to Golden State in the offseason. Just how bad can things get in Cleveland? Watch this space to find out.
Predicted Score: Houston Rockets 112 Cleveland Cavaliers 105
Portland Trail Blazers Vs Boston Celtics – Sunday
If any team has a tougher weekend ahead of them than Portland, I’m not sure who it would be. Fresh off of playing in Toronto on Friday night against the #2 team in the East, the Trail Blazers need to stay on the road for a visit to #1 ranked Boston. That is a truly brutal schedule, although Portland is a healthy 14-12 on the road.
The Boston Celtics have been sitting atop the East for as long as anyone can remember, but they have been slipping a little, going just 5-5 in their last 10. They have won back to back games, though, and appear to be pulling out of their mini-slump.
Predicted Score: Portland Trail Blazers 97 Boston Celtics 99
