Tuesday is a great day for those of us who love to wager on the Must Bet NFL Matches, as that is when the odds are released for the next week’s action. There are a couple of different ways that you can go here, the first of which is to hold off and see how the betting odds move as the week progresses. Some teams hold off on revealing injuries until later in the week, and the release of those reports can have an impact on the odds.
Another way to go is to jump on the odds that you really like early in the week, essentially guaranteeing a price that you like before it heads in the opposite direction. I have a few matches picked out for Week 11 that I am going to bet on today, so let’s take a look at those picks.
“We’re sitting at 5-4. We haven’t given the fans a lot to be excited about the last two weeks, but I’m confident in our team.”

Jacksonville Jaguars (-7 ½) over Cleveland Browns
The Jaguars and Browns have been the whipping boys in the NFL for as long as anyone can remember, but the Jags are making a move this year, and now need to be considered a legitimate playoff contender. The Browns are delivering more of the same, and are entering Week 11 still in search of their first win of the season. Perhaps it is a lack of trust that the Jaguars are for real that the point spread has been set so low, but I think this 7 ½ point spread is a bargain. The Jags are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games on the road, and I think they are going to win this one by double-digits.
LA Rams vs. Minnesota Vikings (UNDER 46)
This is one of those games where you get an unstoppable force going against an immovable object. The Rams are one of the most effective offensive teams in the league, while the Minnesota Vikings have surged to the top of the division in large part due to the play of their defense. The point total for this one seems like it is right on point to me, but I think that it is going to slip more towards the UNDER once this one is all said and done. This is a game that could well come down to a field goal finish, as I like it to be a tight, low-scoring affair where FG’s instead of TD’s carry the day.
Buffalo Bills (+4) vs. LA Chargers
Before I break this one down, let me start by saying that I think the Bills could be in trouble here. After a solid start to the season, the wheels have come off a little, and they are coming into this one with back to back losses. The Chargers are in the same boat, but they were at least competitive in their last two games, which ended in defeats to the Patriots and Jaguars. I like the Bills to steady the ship a little this weekend, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that I believe they will win. This looks like being a very close one to me, with a 1-3-point margin of victory the most likely outcome.
New England Patriots vs. Oakland Raiders (OVER 52)
When Tom Brady turned 40, the feeling was that he might be ready to lose a step or two, but that is not how things are playing out. He is playing some of the best football of his career right now, and he is turning a makeshift offensive into something special. The Oakland Raiders have been a big disappointment this season, but they still have a group of players that can put points up on the board. This is a game that is going to deliver offense, and I think it will easily go beyond that 52-point total.
