Nashville Predators Vs Winnipeg Jets NHL Playoffs Game 6 Information
When the NHL regular season comes to an end, we tend to have a pretty good idea of who the elite teams will be heading into the NHL playoffs. Hockey fans also think about which teams they would like to see in the conference finals, and which two teams would make the most exciting Stanley Cup Final. As far as the Western Conference goes, I am probably in good company, as I would loved to have seen the Nashville Predators and Winnipeg Jets go head to head in the conference final, but they were unfortunately paired together in the second round. Through the opening 5 games, this has undoubtedly been one of the most exciting series this playoff season, but there is a chance that it could all come to an end on Monday night. The Winnipeg Jets are heading home for Game 6 with the chance to kill off the Predators after picking up another win on the road in the last meeting. The Jets were my dark horse pick to win it all this year, and they may just be ready to take one step closer to proving me right.

Why bet on the Nashville Predators
The Nashville Predators are a team that are certainly not lacking in confidence. They made it all the way to the Stanley Cup Final last year, and then followed that up by posting the best regular season record in the NHL this season. P.K. Subban has backed up that confidence by coming right out and saying that the Predators will even up this series in Game 6 on the road in Winnipeg. It is a rather bold statement from a player who just seen his team whipped 6-2 in their own building by the Jets in Game 5, but it’s also fair when you consider that the only loss that Winnipeg has experienced on home ice this playoff season is to the Nashville Predators. When you looked at the stats of these teams coming in, it always looked as though we were in for an extended series, but will that be 6 or 7 games. Subban seems to think it will be the latter.
Why bet on the Winnipeg Jets
When the Winnipeg Jets offense is playing at their very best, they are arguably the very best in this league. They were once again an unstoppable force in Game 5, scoring 6 goals on a team that is among the best defensive units in the NHL. While the stats of these two teams are very comparable, there is one intangible that won’t show up, but which is still incredibly important. I am talking about playoff experience, and the Predators have that in spades after their great run last season. The Jets do not have that experience to fall back on, but what they do have is a team that is solid from top to bottom, and which is 4-1 on home ice in these playoffs.

This, for me, will be THE sporting event to tune into on Monday night. I think we are in for another great game, and I also believe that we will see the Jets move on to the Western Conference Final.
